Soft Tissue Evaluation
During your first consultation, I will evaluate your posture, your particular sport, home or work-related activity, and assess any previous sports or work injuries you have experienced.
If I am treating an area of pain, I will investigate the seat of the pain and assess if it is caused directly by the muscle invloved or if it is a “referred” pain orginating in other related muscles.
It is likely that I will begin treating this area during the first session. This will indicate the severity of the pain and will enable us to work out a treatment plan together.

Soft Tissue Therapy
I use a variety of techniques to soothe sore and tired muscles into relaxation and restore natural movement and function. Not only that, but it aids faster recovery and can reduce injury and repetitive strain.
Whether you have a new injury or an old one, massage will largely reduce discomfort and weakness experienced. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or you work at a desk, I can help improve range of movement, posture, restricted movement in muscles and joints, and improve discomfort and pain.
Postural Assessments
For the majority of my clients I offer a postural assessment, to ascertain areas of asymmetry and discomfort with muscle groups and joints in the body. By identifying these problem areas I can tailor my treatment to suit your needs, and assess limited and good function in joints to establish areas to improve.

Sports massage
Sports massage is a great way to relieve your sore muscles. Massage also contributes to the following:
– Muscle / ligament / tendon repair

With my treatment I use a combination of muscle energy techniques (METs), soft tissue release (STR), positional release and trigger pointing.
